Directions

  1. Wash hair. Skip conditioner.
  2. Mix indigo with warm water to a yogurt texture. Rest 5–10 minutes.
  3. Apply from roots to ends. Clip up.
  4. Cover. Process 45–90 minutes. Longer gives deeper tone.
  5. Rinse with water until clear. Wait 24–48 hours before shampoo.
  6. Two-step gray coverage: first dye with pure henna 60–90 minutes. Rinse. Then apply indigo 30–60 minutes the same day.
