What is HHQ?

Henna Hair Quality also known as HHQ is pure and natural specifically formulated, finely sifted and high quality Henna made exclusively for use on your hair.  Henna that is certified HHQis always a premium grade Henna and is approved for use on your hair by the FDA.   HHQ is gentle on your hair, completely safe and contains all natural ingredients.   HHQ never has chemicals, salts or ppd’s added and it is not a compound henna.
Henna Quality Hennas have a lawsome dye content that is gentler on your hair then Body Art Quality henna also known as BAQ henna.  HHQ ranges on the low to medium side of the lawsome index. Hair Quality Hennas will not give you that bright, blazing, fire engine red that you will get from BAQ hennas. For example if you are looking for dark brown henna without a great deal of bright red you would not use henna for hair that is rated BAQ, you would want to use certified HHQ henna.   With HHQ  the amount of red dye is controlled, that means less  lawsome concentrate  means less red.  With BAQ henna you get red, red and more red, despite the color formulation BAQ will be predominately red,  every time... this is great for you if you want to be a red head but that's not for everyone.
Our Henna Maiden hair dyes are all HHQ certified and FDA approved for use on your hair.  To create the warmer tones we mixed HHQ with an herb called Amla this gives you beautiful browns, awesome auburns and golden delicious blonde tones easily. If you want to dye your hair brown using henna you now have that option with Henna Hair Quality Hennas . If you want to dye your hair Golden Blonde you now can using HHQ certified Hennas. Because HHQ is premium henna you can easily cover your grey.
With BAQ hair hennas you often times have to add  things like indigo, cloves, coffee, lemon etc.  in with your henna powder to try to manipulate the color outcome. With HHQ henna hair dyes the formula is devised at the manufacturing plant so you get the color you are looking for.

Body art Quality Henna is just that..... It is henna with a high concentrate of Lawsome that will leave a dark redish stain on your skin.  So if you are looking for quality henna for body art you would want to use BAQ henna for the darkest and longest lasting stain. BAQ henna is manufactured specifically for body art.
